*General Accountant ? Full-Time* A Toronto-based accounting services firm is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented *General Accountant* to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, tax compliance, payroll processing, and client account support. This is a full-time position located near *Sheppard Avenue and Don Mills Road*. The duties and qualifications below are based on the position overview provided. *Key Responsibilities* * Perform full-cycle accounting duties accurately and efficiently * Assist with company incorporation, business registration, and opening government or business accounts * Record accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records * Complete regular bank and credit card reconciliations * Prepare and process payroll and T4 slips * Prepare and file HST, WSIB, and Employer Health Tax returns * Prepare financial statements and assist with personal and corporate tax returns * Work closely with senior staff to support daily accounting operations * Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members * Manage multiple files and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy * Travel to banks and other locations as required for deposits, document delivery, account-related matters, and other business purposes *Qualifications* * Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) * Proficiency in QuickBooks, Profile, and Microsoft Office * Previous experience working in an accounting firm is preferred * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Ability to work independently and under pressure * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin * Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and software * Valid driver?s licence and a reliable personal vehicle *\* Driving Requirement* The employee will be required to *use their own vehicle to travel to banks and other business-related locations during working hours*.
