Level 2 Dental Assistant (NDAEB Required/In-Progress) ? No Weekends! *Location:* Mid-town Toronto, ON (Conveniently located directly across from Bathurst Subway Station) *Job Type:* Full-time, Permanent *Salary:* $24.00?$27.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience) *Hours:* 40?44 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM/8:30 AM ? 5:30 PM) *About Us:* Are you a certified Level II Dental Assistant looking to join a diverse, professional, and positive environment? *Word of Mouth Dentistry* is looking for a full-time, permanent Level II Dental Assistant to join our well-established and reputable General Dentistry and Periodontal office in mid-town Toronto. Following a full office renovation, we have expanded to an 8-chair dental operatory. We are looking for a calm, resourceful, and skilled communicator who shares our vision for excellent patient care to support the growing demand of our practice. Absolutely no weekends! * *Dental Benefits:* Comprehensive dental care is offered to all employees on a permanent contract upon successful completion of the probationary period. * *Paid Holidays:* We are closed on all Statutory Holidays. * *Modern Facility:* Work in a beautiful, newly renovated, paperless 8-chair facility equipped with modern tech like iTero digital scanners and a panoramic machine. * *Inclusivity:* Newer graduates are welcome to apply! *Job Duties Include:* * Setting up and breaking down dental operatories for scheduled procedures. * Assisting the Dentist during procedures (restorations, extractions, comprehensive oral exams, Invisalign, crown/bridge preps, and implant restorations). * Taking efficient, high-quality digital X-rays (including panorex) for adults and children. * Taking dental impressions with alginate or using our iTero digital scanner. * Fabricating custom whitening trays. * Following strict sterilization and infection control protocols in the lab and operatory. * Providing exceptional patient care, helping clients understand their dental conditions and scheduled procedures. * Assisting dental hygienists with periodontal probing and recording readings in the charting software. * Navigating digital dental software for seamless, paperless patient charting. *Qualifications & Certifications:* * *Certification:* Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant (Required). * *NDAEB Certification:* NDAEB certification is highly preferred upon hire. Candidates currently working towards it are welcome to apply, but *holding or obtaining your NDAEB certification is a mandatory requirement to successfully pass the probationary period.* * *Skills:* Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), tech-savvy, and highly confident using computers/dental software. * *Traits:* Pro-active attitude, punctual, compassionate, organized, and a strong team player who enjoys building connections with patients. A calm demeanor with emotional maturity when handling patient care and unforeseen emergencies.
