This is not an office cleaning position. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an active industrial environment around heavy equipment, warehouses, outdoor yards, and shop facilities.</p><p><b>Rate of Pay</b></p><ul><li><b>New Hire Starting Rate: </b>$25.70</li><li><b>Full Rate: </b>$27.70<b> </b>- <i>after 6 months of employment</i></li></ul><p><b>Schedule</b></p><ul><li><b>Daily scheduling</b>. Monday to Friday.</li><li>Shift start times vary from 10 AM to 1 PM.</li><li>Weekend OT shifts when required.</li></ul><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>General janitorial duties in a warehouse environment.</li><li>Comfortable operating janitorial equipment such as warehouse floor sweeper, forklift, and road sweeper truck. <i>Training on all equipment will be provided.</i></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Working Conditions</b></p><ul><li><b>Shift work is scheduled daily and based on seniority.</b></li><li>Industrial location - warehouse and lumber yard.</li><li>Indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to heat, cold, rain, and noise.</li><li>Frequent exposure to heavy equipment that is operating on site.</li></ul><p><br /><i>IntermodeX Logistics is committed to Employment Equity, supports diversity in the workplace, and encourages applications from all qualified individuals including, women, members of visible minorities, Indigenous persons, and persons with disabilities.
