Join our Canine Expression team as a Doggy Daycare and Boarding Attendant, where every day is filled with wagging tails & happy barks! *Position:* Doggy Daycare & Boarding Assistant *Location:* Cougar Ridge SW, Calgary, AB *Employment Type:* Permanent Full-Time *Salary:* $20.00 per hour once independant, plus bonuses during high volume times (training rate $15/hr) *Schedule:* 12hr shifts - 3 days on week one, 4 days following week (alternating). Weekdays, weekends and holidays included. *Start Date:* ASAP - trained and independent by Sept.30.2026 *Responsibilities:* * Daytime pet care * Supervise & engage with dogs in play areas * Ensure a safe & clean environment (including removing dog waste from yard & on walks * Feed, walk, & monitor dogs according to their needs * Provide basic grooming and care as needed * Communicate with pet owners and provide updates (via text, video and pictures) * Assist with cleaning duties such as sanitizing play areas, kennels & laundry * Administration of medications & Supplements when needed. *Requirements:* * Must be over 18 years old with full time availability * Must complete & clear a police check before hire * Must be willing to work towards confidently handling groups of 10+ dogs in a pack walk setting, including some off-leash supervision * Must have a personal phone and data plan * Must be independent, coachable & adaptable, able to handle various situations with minimal to no supervision * Must love dogs & have experience handling them & their quirks * Valid driver?s license required (Company vehicle provided) * Reliable, outgoing, responsible & punctual * Detailed oriented and organized * Ability to work in a physically active environment * Comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and backgrounds * Excellent communication & teamwork skills * Animal CPR and First Aid certification is an asset & must to obtained once hired. * Previous experience in pet care is preferred *Training & Perks:* Working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility can be a rewarding experience with numerous perks.
