Eastern Urban Zone is seeking a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) fellowship-trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist to assume a full-time clinical practice at the Janeway Children's Health and Rehabilitation Centre in St. John's, NL ? the province's centre for specialized pediatric care. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2026, though this can be adjusted based on the successful candidate's availability.The Janeway Children's Health and Rehabilitation Centre is a 71-bed tertiary care referral hospital for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Janeway is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador (MUNL) and has a residency program in Pediatrics. The successful candidate will be involved in medical student and resident teaching and will hold an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor with Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.The Pediatric Ophthalmology department has the support of Orthoptic services and on-site equipment including OCT, ultrasound, keratometer, and RetCam.
