We value collaboration, communication, and a supportive work environment where every team member can grow and contribute meaningfully. *Position Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate is confident in their technical abilities, thrives in a fast?paced environment, and is passionate about patient care, client education, and teamwork. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide high?quality nursing care to hospitalized and surgical patients * Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery following clinic protocols * Assist with surgical preparation, dental procedures, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics * Collect and process blood, urine, fecal, and cytology samples * Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clear communication with clients and team members * Support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures * Educate clients on preventive care, nutrition, and post?treatment instructions * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness in treatment and surgical areas * Uphold all safety, infection?control, and regulatory standards *Qualifications* * Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing (or eligible for registration) * Strong technical skills and confidence with anesthesia, dentistry, and patient handling * Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem?solving abilities * Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy clinical environment * Compassionate, patient?focused approach to care * Experience with veterinary software (e.g., Shepherd, AVImark) is an asset *What We Offer* * A supportive, collaborative team culture * Competitive wages and benefits (health, CE allowance, uniform allowance, etc.) * Opportunities for professional development and skill advancement * Staff discounts on veterinary services and products * A workplace that values your expertise, input, and wellbeing * RRSP matching program Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Work Location: In person- Location Trenton, ON
