Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment. Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software. Determine nature, cause and location of trouble. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Flexible hours. Workplace information: On the road job.
