Job details
Seeking full time Optician to work 38-42 hours per week. Direct billing, assist patients with frame and lens selection, edge mount lenses, contact lens instruction, maintain dispensary, dispensing eyewear and frame repairs. Salary depends on experience and skill set. * Welcoming demeanour to complement the rest of our team * Direct billing through Telus and other platforms * Organized and skilled attention to detail. * Experience edging glasses, quality control, manuel lensometer skills. * Merchandise, price and clean frames daily. * Pretest for Optometrist auto-refractor, OCT, VF * Customer service skills, trouble shooting. * knowledge of lens material and design, safety glasses, soft, RGP and scleral contact lens instruction Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Vision care Education: * DCS / DEC (required) Experience: * Licensed Optican: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Barrie, ON
