Good Bread Bakery* *Location:* 110, 11600 Stonehill Dr NE, Calgary, AB *Job Type:* Full-Time, Permanent *About the Role* Good Bread Bakery is looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking *Baker* to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of consistency, quality, and food safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads and baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and bake a variety of breads and baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules. * Accurately measure, mix, proof, shape, and bake products. * Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers. * Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality. * Ensure products meet established standards for appearance, texture, and consistency. * Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment. * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. * Assist with opening and closing duties as required. * Work effectively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets. * Help maintain an efficient workflow in a fast-paced production environment. Qualifications * Previous experience as a baker, preferably in a commercial or wholesale bakery. * Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and bakery equipment. * Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients, including flour bags. * Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent product quality. * Flexible availability, including *early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays*.
