*About Us: *Arquette Tree Service is a professional tree care company serving residential and commercial clients in Windsor-Essex and Chatham Kent. We are currently looking to add a skilled and experienced Arborist to our growing team. *Job Description * The Year 3+ Arborist is a skilled and experienced crew member responsible for independently performing a wide range of arboricultural tasks, including tree climbing, sectional dismantling, pruning, and safe operation of aerial lifts and related equipment. This role requires strong technical ability, sound judgment, and a consistent commitment to safety standards and industry best practices. The Arborist is expected to work with minimal supervision, efficiently complete assigned work to a high standard of quality, and contribute to job site leadership, including supporting and mentoring apprentices as needed. Strong communication skills, professionalism on customer sites, and the ability to assess and mitigate risk in real time are essential to success in this position. *Requirements* * Valid G License (or greater) and a clean driving record with experience pulling trailers (willing to upgrade to an A-Restricted) * Well versed in basic tree cutting, rigging and knot techniques * Experience using a spider lift and/or removing trees using a Bucket Truck * Experience in leadership roles and willing to work in a team environment * Good physical fitness * Good work ethic and positive attitude * Strong customer service * Experience using chainsaws, skid steer, wood chipper * Ability to delegate and problem solve in the moment * Attention to detail and respect for other people's property * Tree Climbing experience At Arquette Tree Service Inc. safety is our *top* priority!
