Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Assist clients on and off amusement park rides and secure and release safety belts and bars
  • Operate ski lifts
  • Perform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment
  • Schedule events, programs and activities
  • Determine snow quality
  • Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage
  • Set up and operate air/water snow gun
  • Clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds
  • Monitor snow making operation
  • Assist patrons on and off rides
  • Secure and release safety belts and bars
  • Shut down snow making plant
  • Be the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situations
  • Operate snowmobiles
  • Operate all-terrain vehicles (ATV)
  • Operate 4-wheel drive vehicles
  • Check motor room equipment, gear boxes, carriage and tension systems for safe operation
  • Assist clients on and off ski lifts
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Provide customer service
