<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>The coordinator must supervise the team leaders and employees on the floor. He must also ensure that the department's daily objectives are met, while monitoring health, safety and quality.</p><p><strong>Role and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Working closely with the production supervisors to ensure the daily operations run smoothy</li><li>Distribute and ensure the completion of work orders; supports the operations of production departments/teams to ensure that the quantitative and qualitative measures included in the operational plan are achieved.</li><li>Ensures that proper manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures are always followed and that all products consistently meet specifications.</li><li>Maintain and collaborate on the continuous improvement action plan and contribute to solutions to meet or exceed department performance objectives.</li><li>Inform departmental team leaders of departmental objectives to be achieved (KPIs, productivity).</li><li>Ensure follow-up between shifts and management of route sheets.</li><li>Participate in the development of team members and the working environment (continuous improvement, 5S, SMED, set-up times, etc.).</li><li>Perform daily management systems audits.</li><li>Perform assembly, operator or other production tasks according to operational needs.</li><li>Demonstrate a proactive commitment to quality by strictly following work instructions, proactively prevent quality issues and promptly inform your supervisor of any issue found.</li><li>Actively promote, follow, and take responsibility for health and safety practices in all aspects of the role</li><li>All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.</li></ul> <br> <ul><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong passion for accomplishment.</li><li>Perform with a sense of urgency.</li><li>Excellent time management</li><li>Trustworthy and value responsibility.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.</li><li>Master the French and English language (employees and clients from the United States).</li></ul>- Location Châteauguay, QC
