The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating commercial painting projects, from small businesses to large-scale commercial properties. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to accurately estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment required for each project.</li><li>Conducting site visits to assess the scope of work, existing conditions, and any potential challenges.</li><li>Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids.</li><li>Preparing comprehensive and detailed estimates, proposals, and bid packages.</li><li>Negotiating and closing contracts while maintaining profitability and adhering to company policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Requirements:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Commercial Painting Contractor Estimator or similar role in the construction or painting industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Proficiency in estimating software/tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) preferred.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.</li><li>Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Benefits:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.</li></ul></div></div>- Location Toronto, ON
