Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an assetEducation- Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCCLicenses- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or- Valid Class 5 driver's license- Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).- (May be asked to provide proof of meeting maintenance of certification)- Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA; or- Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.Memberships- Canadian Association of Physician AssistantsCompetencies- Analytical skills- Communication skills- Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example- Computer skills- Technical skills- Interpersonal skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Exemplifies ethical practices, professionalism and personal integrity- Ability to work independently- Demonstrated written and spoken competence in ...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.- Location Regina, SK
