<p>Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently hiring on behalf of a <strong>physician-led, community-based diagnostic imaging organization</strong> in Calgary. This growing private practice is dedicated to delivering <strong>compassionate, patient-centered care</strong> through a combination of clinical expertise and advanced imaging technology.</p> <p>With multiple clinic locations across the city, their team includes subspecialty-trained radiologists, technologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to provide exceptional care and service.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a C<strong>LXT / X-Ray Technologist</strong> to join a dynamic and growing diagnostic imaging team. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring a safe, professional, and supportive patient experience.</p> <p>You will work closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams, supporting both <strong>diagnostic and interventional imaging services</strong> across multiple clinic locations.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Patient Care & Experience</strong></p> <ul><li>Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional clinical setting</li><li>Support patients by answering questions and easing anxieties</li><li>Obtain patient histories and explain procedures clearly</li><li>Review exam appropriateness and patient readiness</li></ul> <p><strong>Technical & Clinical Duties</strong></p> <ul><li>Operate and adjust X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images</li><li>Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including fluoroscopy and C-arm operation</li><li>Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards</li><li>Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment logs</li></ul> <p><strong>Documentation & Quality</strong></p> <ul><li>Complete accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality</li><li>Uphold quality standards for imaging, workflow, and turnaround times</li><li>Support inventory management and supply stocking</li><li>Assist in training and mentoring team members as needed</li></ul> <p><strong>Professional Practice</strong></p> <ul><li>Work under the direction of the Clinic Manager</li><li>Maintain knowledge of clinic procedures and compliance standards</li><li>Protect patient privacy and uphold professional standards</li></ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul><li>Diploma or Degree in Medical Radiologic Technology or CLXT from an accredited institution</li><li>Active registration and good standing with <strong>ACMDTT</strong></li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Patient-focused mindset with a commitment to clinical excellence</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital systems</li></ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul><li>Experience with interventional fluoroscopy</li><li>Background in interventional radiology or pain management</li></ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p> <ul><li>Full-time position (8-hour shifts)</li><li>Flexible scheduling (evenings and weekends may be required)</li><li>In-person role across multiple Calgary clinic locations</li><li>Must be able to travel within Calgary</li></ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p> <ul><li><strong>$39 ? $52/hour</strong> (based on experience)</li><li>Comprehensive health, dental, and disability benefits</li><li><strong>Health & Wellness Spending Accounts ($1,800/year, prorated)</strong></li><li><strong>RRSP matching (up to $1,000)</strong></li><li>Paid vacation and sick time</li><li><strong>Uniforms provided at no cost</strong></li><li>Continuing education and professional development support</li><li>Employee wellness programs and team events</li><li>Free on-site parking</li><li><s- Location Calgary, AB
