*Job Overview* We are seeking a professional and dependable Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safety procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest safety standards. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local and long-distance freight delivery * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance * Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies * Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability * Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation * Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues *Experience* * Valid Class 1 commercial driver?s license (CDL) with a clean driving record * Prior experience in freight transportation or commercial driving preferred * Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance requirements This position requires a dedicated individual capable of managing heavy equipment operation, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring timely deliveries.
