We are looking to hire a Part Time AZ Instructor for our Transport Driver Training Facility located in Kitchener, Ontario. All candidates applying must have a valid class AZ license with a minimum of 10yrs verifiable over the road experience and no gaps in the last 5 years. A Clean CVOR & Driver's Abstract is required. This position is perfect for a semi retired AZ Driver who would love to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of truckers. We are a school that is safety focused and passionate about training standards. Together we can help to put safe and responsible drivers on our roads. Only candidates with extensive experience in *Manual Transmission* will be considered Air Brake Endorsement (required). English Language (required). Responsibilities may include some or all of the following: * *In Yard Instruction* - supervising and instructing students as per the provided curriculum, ensuring safe practices at all times * *In Truck Instruction* -instructing the student driver ensuring safety of all road occupants at all times and in compliance with the OHTA * *Theory Instruction *- leading a class of 8-15 students through the required course curriculum *License/Certification:* * Air Brake Endorsement (required) * Class A License (required) *Shift Availability:* * Day Shift (required) * On call * Weekend availability *Benefits:* * Flexible scheduling * On-site parking *To apply please include the following:* * Your resume * 3yr Drivers Abstract * CVOR Abstract * 2 letters of reference * Proof of minimum 10yrs of employment as an AZ Truck Driver.
