<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><b><strong>Position Summary</strong></b></p><p>Prepare high-quality Thai dishes, support daily kitchen operations, and maintain consistent Thai Haven food standards. More than 1 year of</p><p>cooking experience and wok handling experience are required.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Prepare, cook, and plate Thai dishes according to recipes, portions, and presentation standards.</li><li>Operate wok stations safely and confidently for high-heat stir-fry, noodles, rice, meat, seafood, and vegetable dishes.</li><li>Prepare sauces, curry bases, marinades, soups, appetizers, and daily mise en place before service.</li><li>Monitor quality, taste, temperature, timing, and consistency during prep and service.</li><li>Keep the cooking station clean, organized, stocked, and safe throughout the shift.</li><li>Coordinate with prep, plating, dishwasher, and service team members for smooth order flow.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Qualifications and Requirements</strong></b></p><ul><li>More than 1 year of restaurant or commercial kitchen cooking experience.</li><li>Wok handling experience required; Thai or Asian cooking experience preferred.</li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow food safety standards.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, respectful, and willing to support opening/closing duties.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></b></p><ul><li>Eligible full-time benefits may include HSA after 6 months, paid holidays/holiday pay, free employee meal during eligible shifts, eligible tip</li><li>Pool participation, and uniform allowance, all subject to company policy, plan terms, and applicable law.</li><li>Send resume and a brief summary of Thai cooking and wok experience.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Work Location</strong></b>: <b><strong>In person</strong></b></p></div>\nCompany Description<div><p>Thai Haven Restaurant Inc. is a new dining restaurant coming in Southwest of Ottawa Barrhaven.
