Mountain driving expertise. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Documentation knowledge: Dangerous goods occurrence reports. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Type of trucking and equipment: Flatbed. Logging, highway. Tractor-trailer. Transportation/travel experience: International. Local. Long-haul. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Valid passport. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Medical exam.
