Representing over 1,300 family farms in the province, CFO is responsible for a growing, profitable and sustainable chicken industry.&nbsp;The Business Services Associate at CFO works with the CFO team, farmers and stakeholders to provide technical and administrative support from our corporate office located in Guelph.&nbsp;The role will work collaboratively with all CFO functional groups, and an interest in learning about the broiler industry and the Ontario agriculture sector.&nbsp;KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESFarmer and Stakeholder SupportProvide administrative support and customer service to farmers and stakeholders as CFO transitions to a new farmer-facing portal over the next 12 months.Act as a liaison with the various CFO departments to resolve farmer and stakeholder issues, and work cross functionality with various teams to provide information and resolve issuesAct as front line staff on occasion, assisting visitors in a professional and courteous demeanorAssist with other projects as assignedQUALIFICATIONSEducationCollege Diploma or Degree in Office Business Administration, Agriculture or Commerce or related Education or Experience&nbsp;Experience1-2 years of experience in customer service, program support, customer relationship management, administration, or project support roles&nbsp;CompetenciesPassion to succeedAdvanced Microsoft Office SuiteCustomer relationship management database experience is an assetMultiline telephone systems such as RingCentral is an assetCustomer-focused service and support with an ability to understand customer needsStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate across various channels &ndash; phone, email, chat functionsProblem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys interacting with othersAbility to balance multiple priorities within deadlinesAbility to enter information into ticketing systems with high degree of accuracyWillingness to learn more about various computer systems and the chicken sector in generalDevelop and maintain working relationships in a cross-functional environmentExperience and/or understanding of the agricultural sector would be an assetBilingual French Speaking would be an assetCOMPENSATION AND DISCLOSURELocation: Guelph, ON (Corporate Office)Status: Full Time hours, CONTRACT, Non-HybridDuration: One (1) year contract starting August 28, 2026Salary Range: $52,000 - $58,000 per year.AI Disclosure: Chicken Farmers of Ontario (CFO) does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen, assess, or select applicants for this position.CFO&#39;s Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At CFO, we are committed to diversity and inclusion, reflecting our industry and the communities where we live and work.
