<div><strong>Hiring Event:</strong></div><div>St. John's</div><div>Sheraton hotel</div><div>August 1 & 2 , 2026.</div><div>8am - 4pm.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>This is 100% travel.</strong></div><div>Flight to Edmonton for paid training, then travel to the job site, and then a flight home at the <u>end of the job</u> are provided. There will be no travel home for shift rotations.</div><div><br></div><div>Clean Harbors is looking for <strong>Seasonal Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers/Operators</strong> to join our turnaround team on a <strong>temporary basis</strong>. This position requires the candidate to safely operate, drive, and maintain Manual Transmission (13 or 18 speed) Class 1 or Class 3 units, such as vacuum, combo, and water trucks.</div><div><br></div><div>You would be supporting projects that require <strong>100% travel. </strong>Availability is necessary for training starting in August with projects spanning August to November 2026 with the potential to join our team in a permanent role.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong></div><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Earn a competitive wage of $30-32/hour depending on qualifications and previous experience.</li><li>Potential to earn up to $100,000 + per year.</li><li>On-the-job training will be provided to all employees.</li><li><strong>Travel and accommodations ( camp/hotel) are provided.</strong></li><li>Personal Protective Equipment is provided to all employees.</li><li>Various shift options (6/1, 12/2, 18/3, or 24/4).</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.</li><li>Operate, drive and stage various manual transmission units (i.e., High-Pressure, Hydrovac, Combo and Vac).</li><li>Operate various high-pressure water blasting tools and equipment at pressures up to 40K PSI.</li><li>Maintain and certify Hours of Service by completing logs in an ELD system (Samsara).</li><li>Work in confined spaces such as vessels and tanks under supplied air and may transport hazardous goods.</li><li>Perform general labor duties as assigned, including the use of hand/power tools.</li><li>Work as part of a team with Clients, Co-workers & Supervisors.</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Experienced driving <strong>manual transmissions</strong> (13 & 18 speed) with a valid Class 1 or 3 Drivers License.</li><li>Provide a 5-year driver?s abstract with no more than 3 demerits.</li><li>Must successfully complete a Clean Harbors? driver evaluation.</li><li>Safety tickets preferred (i.e., H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space Entry).</li><li>Common Safety Orientation required prior to onboarding.</li><li>Previous Vacuum Truck and/or High-Pressure unit operating experience preferred.</li><li>Willing to travel for extended periods of time and work 8?13-hour shifts.</li><li>Flexibility to work day shift or night shift as required.</li><li>Previous shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset.</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>40-years of sustainability in action.
