No problem. We will help successful candidates obtain their Alberta Security Services Licence as part of the onboarding process.</strong></p><p></p><h3><strong>Position Details</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Location:</strong> Stettler, Alberta</li><li><strong>Position Type:</strong> Full-Time</li><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Rotation</li><li><strong>Rotation:</strong></li><ul><li>7 consecutive day shifts</li><li>7 days off</li><li>7 consecutive night shifts</li><li>7 days off</li></ul><li>Travel to nearby healthcare facilities within the service area may be required.</li><li><strong>Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible travel over 50 km one way, creating an opportunity for additional earnings.</strong></li><li><strong>Scheduled employees receive a guaranteed base rate even if no shift is available, although employees are typically assigned work on approximately 95?100% of scheduled shifts.</strong></li><li>Training is provided prior to your start date.</li></ul><p></p><h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3><p>Healthcare Security Guards play an important role in protecting patients, visitors, healthcare professionals, and hospital property while creating a safe and respectful environment.</p><p>No two shifts are the same. You'll combine strong communication, professionalism, customer service, and problem-solving skills while responding to a variety of situations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.</p><p></p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><p>Responsibilities may include:</p><ul><li>Monitoring patient safety throughout the facility</li><li>Conducting interior and exterior patrols</li><li>Controlling access to restricted areas</li><li>Responding to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance</li><li>Monitoring CCTV and security systems</li><li>Supporting healthcare staff during challenging situations</li><li>Using communication and de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts safely</li><li>Identifying and reporting security concerns or safety hazards</li><li>Completing accurate incident reports and documentation</li><li>Providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate:</p><ul><li>Enjoys helping others and serving their community</li><li>Has excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Remains calm and professional in high-pressure situations</li><li>Works well independently and as part of a team</li><li>Is comfortable traveling to healthcare facilities within the service area</li><li>Can work both day and night shifts on a rotating schedule</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>No previous security experience is required.</strong> An Alberta Security Services Licence is an asset, but successful candidates who do not currently hold a licence will receive support and guidance through the licensing process before- Location Stettler, AB
