*Job Type:* Full-time, Part-time *Work Location:* In person *About the Role* We are currently hiring professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Security Guards for weekday and weekends; day and night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, visitors, and property across various client sites. *Position Details* * *Schedule:* Weekend and Weekday shifts (Day and Night shifts available) * *Employment Type:* Full-time and Part-time positions available * *Locations:* Commercial buildings, construction sites, retail plazas, offices, and residential properties *Only apply if you are availabe to work both August 22 and 23 2026. * *Responsibilities* * Perform regular indoor/outdoor patrols of the property * Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and CCTV systems where applicable * Observe, deter, and report suspicious activity promptly * Complete clear, accurate daily activity logs and incident reports * Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and client requests * Provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and facility staff * Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and secure all doors, gates, and access points *Requirements* * *Valid Alberta Security License* (Required) * *Personal owned vehicle and valid drivers license required* * *Previous experience as a security guard is required* * *Experience as a Security supervisor or manager *is an asset * *Cover Letter submitted with application* (See application instructions below) * *Strong written and verbal communication skills* * *Professional appearance, punctual demeanor, and strong conflict resolution abilities* * *Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods* * *Basic computer and smartphone literacy (for electronic reporting systems)* *Flexible scheduling* On-site parking *How to Apply* To be considered for this role, *you must submit a brief Cover Letter *alongside your resume answering the following three items: *Interest:* Why are you interested in working with our team? *Experience Highlight:* Briefly describe a specific project, achievement, or challenging situation you successfully handled in a previous role? _Applications submitted without a cover letter briefly addressing these points will not be considered._ Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Work Location: In person
