This opportunity could be a great fit for you.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>In this role, you will be responsible for various activities related to indirect purchasing, procurement, and inventory management. <br> <br>Your main responsibilities will include: <br> <br>Managing purchases and replenishment of supplies required for daily operations; <br>Negotiating pricing, fees, and terms with suppliers; <br>Identifying and developing relationships with new suppliers; <br>Sourcing alternative solutions to optimize purchasing costs; <br>Comparing local and international sourcing options; <br>Maintaining accurate supplier information and pricing; <br>Ensuring consistency between purchase orders and invoices; <br>Analyzing consumption trends and anticipating replenishment needs; <br>Maintaining appropriate inventory levels based on operational requirements; <br>Considering lead times and logistics schedules when planning purchases; <br>Coordinating and participating in monthly inventory counts; <br>Maintaining inventory and pricing databases; <br>Responding to requests from various internal teams; <br>Preparing monthly reports related to purchasing and inventory; <br>Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes.</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement; <br>Experience with indirect purchasing is a strong asset; <br>Good experience with inventory management and control; <br>Comfortable negotiating with suppliers; <br>Strong analytical skills and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities; <br>Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables and lookup functions; <br>Experience using inventory management systems; <br>Strong organizational and prioritization skills; <br>Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously; <br>Autonomous, dynamic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment. <br>Languages <br> <br>English is used on a daily basis in the workplace. <br> <br>A good level of French is also required, as you will need to communicate independently with French-speaking suppliers in Quebec. <br> <br>Conditions <br>12 to 16-month contract <br>Possibility of a permanent position depending on future opportunities <br>Location: Laval <br>Hybrid work model <br>35 hours per week, Monday to Friday <br>Salary: $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience <br>Group insurance depending on the employment arrangement <br>On-site parking <br> <br>Looking for a versatile position combining procurement, supplier negotiation, inventory management, and analysis? <br> <br>Apply today!</p> <br><br>- Location Laval, QC
