We are looking for outgoing, adaptable individuals looking to learn and grow within our team and industry. Key Responsibilities: * Interpret isometric drawings accurately for fabrication purposes * Align and secure pipes in accordance with isometric drawings * Arrange and mark pipes for precision cutting * Operate manual or semi-automatic flame cutting equipment * Utilize hoisting and lifting equipment effectively * Operate welding machines that have been pre-set * Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with Barrier Group?s safe work practices, policies, and procedures * Ability to identify hazards * Report all incidents, near misses and equipment damage to supervision * Assist with other duties as required *Requirements:* * Possession of a Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or valid Apprenticeship Ticket * Familiarity with industry standards and best practices * Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license * CSTS or PCST Certification * WHMIS 2015 certification *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* * Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture * Must be dependable * Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy * Ability to communicate effectively * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Notes: * Please reply to this advertisement with resume attached.
