We are looking to hire a new team member for our crew at our Langford terminal. _Shift is Monday - Friday starting @ 3am_ Who We Are * ColdStar Solutions is an island-based grocery transporter and wholesaler with terminals in Victoria, Richmond, Cassidy, and Comox. The Role * Unloading and loading trailers * Sorting freight and accompanying paperwork * Palletizing freight * Shrink wrapping skids * Perform all related physical activities of a warehouse * Receive and rotate product * Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments * Mark containers with identifying information * Preform general cleaning duties Who you are * A reliable, flexible, and respectful team-player that takes pride in their work * Someone comfortable with working the early bird shift What you bring * Physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs * Ability to work in a refrigerated environment * Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack * Strong communication skills * Previous warehouse or cross-dock experience would be ideal * Comfortable in a cold refridgerated environment What We Offer * Salary is $24.06 / hr ($21.06 / hr + $3 / hr night shift premium) * Benefits package including a Health Spending Account, Life Insurance, Travel Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and quick access to virtual health care * Paid time off * Group RSP plan and matching * Loyalty bonus program * Paid volunteer time * Boot allowance * 50% Bus Pass Coverage Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $24.06 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match Application question(s): * **This is a local warehouse position.
