*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our family dental office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality dental hygiene services. The RDH will play a vital role in promoting oral health, performing patient assessments, and ensuring infection control standards are maintained according to HIPAA regulations and industry best practices. *Duties* * Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, while utilizing aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. * Take and record vital signs, medical imaging, and other diagnostic data to assist in patient assessment. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care tailored to pediatric and adult patients. * Understanding of Tracker dental software * Support the dental team with patient care activities, including medical coding, documentation review, and maintaining infection control standards. * Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. * Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to IPAC standards and infection control protocols. *Experience* * Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). * Proven experience working in dental hygiene * Familiarity with dental software such as Tracker * Experience with medical imaging, vital signs measurement, and patient assessment techniques. * Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and HIPAA compliance. * Prior experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is preferred. * Strong understanding of medical records management, documentation review, medical coding, and EMR systems. * Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
