*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to renovations, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver top-quality results. *Responsibilities* * Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair work. * Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems. * Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment to support industrial processes. * Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites, renovation projects, or existing facilities. * Diagnose electrical issues through systematic testing and inspection, then implement effective solutions promptly. * Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards. * Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur. *Skills* * Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. * Hands-on experience as a construction electrician or in a similar setting with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols. * Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment essential for electrical work. * Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical installations or upgrades. * Knowledge of low voltage systems including security alarms, fire alarms, data cabling, and automation controls. * Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes. * Handyman skills that support troubleshooting across multiple trades are a plus.
