Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Installing machinery and equipment. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification. Construction Millwright Trade Certification. Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement. Welder Trade Certification. Area of specialization: Start-up and testing. Shutdown operations. Rigging and handling. Troubleshooting. Bearing, seals and packing. Welding. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.
