*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and served promptly. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent teamwork skills. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. * Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. * Help maintain equipment by performing basic cleaning and maintenance tasks. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. * Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
