*Dr. Vetamin Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospital* Ottawa, ON *Full-Time | Permanent* $128,000 Base Salary + Production Bonus Dr. Vetamin Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospital is an *independent, veterinarian-owned 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Ottawa* seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team. Our facility includes: * Two fully equipped surgical suites * Electrocautery * Anesthesia ventilators * Advanced ultrasonography * Digital radiography * Comprehensive IDEXX in-house laboratory * Digital cytology with pathologist review * Oxygen ICU * On-site oxygen generation * Upper GI endoscopy * Comprehensive canine and feline blood bank * Dedicated hospitalization and isolation facilities *Compensation & Benefits* *Base Salary: $128,000 CAD* Additional compensation and benefits include: * 20% production commission after 4× base production * Paid vacation * Continuing education allowance * CVO professional dues * Uniform allowance * Health insurance benefits * Hands-on clinical mentorship * Training in advanced diagnostics and procedures * Opportunities to develop individual areas of clinical interest Compensation may be adjusted based on experience and clinical capabilities. *What We're Looking For* Applicants must have: * DVM or equivalent veterinary degree * Eligibility for an unrestricted licence to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario * *Minimum 1 year of emergency veterinary experience in North America* * Ability to independently manage common emergency presentations and hospitalized patients * Strong communication and teamwork skills We are particularly interested in veterinarians who are *curious, motivated, and interested in expanding their clinical capabilities.* *Why This Position Is Different* This is not simply a position where you work emergency shifts and go home.
