Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Working at heights training. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). First Aid Certificate. Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Type of trucking and equipment: Flatbed. Hydrovac. Refrigerated. Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles). Security and safety: Valid passport. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone.
