*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring that projects progress smoothly and safely. Your energy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up work areas * Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, and tile laying * Support carpenters, plumbers, welders, and other tradespeople by providing necessary materials and assistance * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate work execution * Perform demolition work and restoration tasks as needed to prepare sites for new construction or renovation projects * Apply caulking, painting, drywall finishing, and other surface treatments to meet quality standards * Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues *Skills* * Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction tasks * Previous experience in construction or related trades preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately * Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting processes * Familiarity with plumbing systems and welding basics is a plus * Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods * Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills on the job Join us in building quality structures while developing your skills in a supportive environment!
