First Presbyterian Church is seeking a part-time caretaker to set-up and take-down arrangements for Sunday services, assist attendees with accessibility requirements and ensure building is secure. Duties include: Set-Up1. Clean snow and de-ice front entrance and 14th Ave. entrance2. Put red No Parking signs out front3. Unlock doors: Front door, 14th Ave. entrance, Kitchen, Classrooms, 2 Doors to Choir loft, 2 Doors from Sanctuary to back stairs4. Put up hymn numbers for the service (both sides of the sanctuary)5. Bring fresh ice water to the pulpit for the minister (return stale water)6. Confirm all church lights are turned on to their maximum power7. Turn on fans if necessary8. Set up tables in gym (8-10) and chairs (48-54) for coffee hour after service, plus 3 tables for serving refreshments, etc. NOTE: Required set-up will vary, depending on the church function. (i.e., potluck lunch, Advent party, annual meeting, etc.) Assistance and Security Monitor Albert Street entrance; Ensure all doors are locked once activities are completed Operate accessibility lifts to sanctuary and to gym level and assist attendees as needed before, during and after church service and coffee hour. Take-Down1. Wait for completion of coffee hour2. Chairs and Tables take down and put away in their proper rooms3. Shut off all lights and fans up and down4. Lock all doors (Front, 14th Ave., Choir room, Church doors)5. Wait for all congregants to leave with their appropriate rides (taxi, paratransit).6. Bring in No Parking signs.- Location Regina, SK
