Western Zone invites applications for a full-time Rheumatologist within the Medicine Program at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL.The Rheumatology Division offers a collegial atmosphere with clinical space and administrative support provided. On-call rotas are shared equitably among division members.The successful candidate will join an enriched teaching environment affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. Participation in the teaching of medical students and house staff is expected.Western Memorial Regional Hospital is a newly constructed, state-of-the-art acute care facility that opened in June 2024. The hospital serves as a 164-bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland, delivering a broad range of secondary and select tertiary services to a population of approximately 80,000 residents.Work EnvironmentCorner Brook and the Western region offer an exceptional quality of life.
