*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge of dental software and terminology to improve patient outcomes and experience. *Responsibilities* * Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization of instruments * Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics treatments * Take digital dental radiographs when necessary * Manage patient records using dental software * Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, ensuring they understand care procedures * Maintain patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits * Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow * Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care to accurately document procedures and patient information *Skills* * HARP certified. * Experience with dental assisting techniques, including sterilization, radiography, and chairside support * Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric dentistry settings * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and procedure support * Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus but not required This position is ideal for candidates passionate about providing high-quality dental care in a professional environment.
