<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><i><b><strong>Industrial Electrician - (Heavy Machinery & Low Voltage)</strong></b></i></p><p><i><b><strong>Wage based on Experience</strong></b></i></p><p>We are currently hiring a qualified <b><strong>Industrial Electrician</strong></b> or <b><strong>Electrical Apprentice</strong></b> for a <b><strong>full-time contract</strong></b> position expected to last <b><strong>one month or longer</strong></b>. This role involves working on-site at customer locations to perform <b><strong>electrical installations</strong></b>, <b><strong>machine wiring</strong></b>, <b><strong>industrial electrical maintenance</strong></b>, and <b><strong>equipment servicing</strong></b> in demanding <b><strong>industrial environments</strong></b>. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with <b><strong>low voltage wiring</strong></b>, <b><strong>conduit systems</strong></b>, <b><strong>motor control panels</strong></b>, <b><strong>industrial automation</strong></b>, and electrical systems associated with <b><strong>heavy equipment</strong></b> and <b><strong>automated machinery</strong></b>.</p><p>Primary Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Work safely on <b><strong>industrial electrical installation projects</strong></b> at customer sites while following all applicable <b><strong>Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)</strong></b> requirements, electrical standards, and safety protocols</li><li>Install, examine, replace, maintain, and repair <b><strong>electrical components</strong></b>, wiring, and controls used in <b><strong>industrial automation systems</strong></b></li><li>Build, install, and wire <b><strong>electrical control panels</strong></b> and <b><strong>Motor Control Centers (MCCs)</strong></b> as required</li><li>Install <b><strong>cable tray</strong></b>, <b><strong>EMT conduit</strong></b>, <b><strong>rigid conduit</strong></b>, raceways, fittings, and other industrial electrical fixtures</li><li>Perform <b><strong>machine wiring</strong></b> for automated equipment, including <b><strong>safety circuits</strong></b>, <b><strong>PLCs</strong></b>, sensors, motors, and other <b><strong>industrial control devices</strong></b></li><li>Complete <b><strong>low voltage control wiring</strong></b> and electrical connections for machinery and equipment</li><li>Perform <b><strong>electrical troubleshooting</strong></b>, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on existing industrial electrical systems and equipment</li><li>Read and interpret <b><strong>electrical schematics</strong></b>, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and <b><strong>electrical blueprints</strong></b></li><li>Provide professional <b><strong>field service</strong></b> support at industrial customer locations to maintain, troubleshoot, and service electrical equipment</li><li>Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned <b><strong>service vehicle</strong></b> while working in the field</li><li>Work independently and collaboratively with technicians, electricians, automation personnel, and other trades in <b><strong>fast-paced industrial environments</strong></b></li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Valid <b><strong>309A Electrician Certification</strong></b>, <b><strong>Journeyperson Electrician</strong></b> qualification, or relevant <b><strong>Electrical Apprentice</strong></b> status</li><li>Previous experience in <b><strong>industrial electrical</strong></b>, <b><strong>machine wiring</strong></b>, <b><strong>heavy machinery</strong></b>, or <b><strong>industrial automation</strong></b> environments</li><li>Strong knowledge of <b><strong>low voltage control systems</strong></b>, electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, and repair</li><li>Hands-on experience with <b><strong>motor controls</strong></b>, <b><strong>control panels</strong></b>, <b><strong>MCCs</strong></b>, and industrial electrical components</li><li>Experience installing <b><strong>EMT conduit</strong></b>, rigid conduit, cable tray, raceways, and associated electr- Location Hamilton, ON
