*Job Summary* Join our dynamic warehouse team as a General Warehouse Worker, where your energy and dedication will drive the efficient operation of our distribution center. In this vital role, you will handle a variety of tasks including order picking, loading and unloading shipments, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining safety standards. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes, supporting timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. This position offers an engaging environment for those eager to develop their skills in warehouse management and heavy equipment operation while contributing to a fast-paced logistics operation. *Responsibilities* * Safely load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery. * Perform order picking accurately with order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders efficiently. * Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, and load & unload equipment following safety protocols. * Assist in shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments and maintaining proper documentation within the warehouse management system. * Conduct heavy lifting tasks regularly to move products and materials throughout the facility. * Support warehouse distribution by organizing inventory, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper storage procedures are followed. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during construction or renovation projects within the warehouse environment. *Requirements* * Prior experience in warehouse operations or related fields such as construction or logistics is highly preferred. * Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or similar machinery is essential. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and shipments. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. * Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload processes. * Experience with order picker devices for accurate order fulfillment. * Construction experience or familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus but not mandatory.
