*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at The Basement. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving customers, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy engaging with guests, we want to hear from you! *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. * Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. * Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure compliance with health standards. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. * Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the food industry, and menu changes. *Experience* * Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. * Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and creating positive guest experiences. * Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous. * Knowledge of food handling practices within the restaurant environment is beneficial. * A friendly demeanor with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
