The Tool Crib Coordinator/Shipper & Receiver is responsible for, receiving items, staging items, assisting with returns, inventory, reporting, maintaining a clean/organized work area, and much more. We are looking to add someone to our team who is very well organized, results-oriented, professional and a strong team player.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Receive and stage parts and materials </li><li>Itemize and prep parts for return to vendors</li><li>Ship items in a timely and accurate manner </li><li>Assemble tool requests for specified job orders ahead of pickup schedule</li><li>Issue materials to employees as needed.</li><li>Receive tools post work completion and ensure they are in their proper place in inventory. Follow up with employees who have issued tools but have not returned. Escalate as necessary</li><li>Maintain inventory database to include tools, stockroom supplies and electrical supplies held in inventory</li><li>Prepare measurement information relative to inventory levels, inventory turnover and other metrics that may be required</li><li>Coordinate tool orders with Purchasing</li><li>Ensure tools are in proper working condition, they are clean, and guarding is in place. Coordinate maintenance or replacements as necessary</li><li>Track and execute Annual and Semi-Annual certifications and calibrations</li><li>Organize external rentals, including delivery and removal with outside vendors</li><li>Seek ways to find efficiencies in the Tool Crib process</li><li>Maintain positive working relationships with other employees</li><li>General clerical work and filing</li><li>Must work closely with the buyer/s</li><li>Inspect and receive good into the ERP system in a timely manner</li><li>Expedite orders when direct and follow up on past due orders from the reports emailed daily. Notifying purchasing with updates and filling in Nav appropriately</li><li>Organizing and general house keeping of inventory, WIP areas & Tool Crib</li><li>Pick up and return of rental equipment as required</li><li>In accordance with company policy/ESA; overtime, work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>Previous experience in one of the following areas: warehouse, purchasing, customer service or tool crib setting</li><li>Knowledge of construction tools and equipment</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, kneel and reach overhead</li><li>Ability to consistently work safely and maintain a safe work environment</li><li>Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft office, including Outlook, Word and Excel</li><li>Able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cop- Location Stratford, ON
