This role is permanent, full-time position. </p><p>The licensed Rental Manager is responsible all Property Management activities. You will oversee a residential leasing portfolio which contains a variety of units form single-family to apartment buildings. The successful candidate will provide strong service leadership to the team, existing owners, and potential and existing tenants. </p><p>In addition, the Rental Manager performs:</p><ul> <li>Completion of various tasks related to rental management</li> <li>Planning and organizing trades </li> <li>Ensuring smooth units/building transition with shareholders/investors/owners/management companies</li> <li>Liaising with owners/shareholders/strata representatives</li> <li>Carrying out leasing activities </li> <li>Working knowledge of building systems</li> <li>Preparing budgets and understanding financial statements</li> <li>Preparation, submission and follow up on warranty / deficiency issues</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Strong Interpersonal skills</li></ul><ul> <li>Hands-on approach</li> <li>A team player</li> <li>Comfortable and confident in directing and coaching site staff </li> <li>Confident in liaising with owners/investors</li> <li>Excellent Time management & Organizing ability</li> <li>Computer literacy</li> <li>Good command of the English language with excellent Writing skills</li> <li>Very good verbal communication skills </li> <li>Very good problem solving skills (ability to see the bigger picture and think outside the box.) </li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Base salary plus earn commissions on leasings</li><li>Hybrid work model with some work from home opportunities</li><li>37.5-hour workweek (Monday-Friday)</li><li>Paid Personal days</li><li>Sick days</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Extended health & dental benefits after probationary 3 months period</li><li>Benefits Plus for qualified employees based on employment tenure</li><li>A great team to work with - we have been awarded the distinction of "Great Place to Work" 7 years in a row!</li></ul><p> </p><p>Associa is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
