Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Custom cabinet shop. Tasks: Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made. Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Area of specialization: Cabinets. Built-in units. Millwork. Furniture and cabinet remodeling. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills.
