Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Sheet metal shop. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Judgement. Organized. Team player.
