Your opportunity:Under a general guidance of the Manager, Summer Abroad Programs, the Program Coordinators provide administrative and program support for the Summer Abroad portfolio. They advise students on academic and financial matters, coordinate program-related communications and outreach initiatives, and support recruitment activities through events and social media engagement.The Program Coordinators play a key role in planning and delivering student orientations and pre-departure workshops, as well as providing ongoing support to students throughout their Summer Abroad experience. They work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful administration and delivery of programs.There are two vacancies available:? One (1) one-year term position, focus on Summer Abroad Language Programs.? One (1) continuing position, focus on Summer Abroad Science Programs.Your responsibilities will include:Advising students on academic and/or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's backgroundProviding detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlinesAnalyzing statistical information to inform enrollment projections and planningProducing promotional and outreach materialsLeading seminars and/or workshopsDelivering student recruitment presentationsReviewing and assessing admissions applicationsAnalyzing potential placement opportunities to determine suitability with student academic learning objectivesEssential Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum four (4) years of related experience with coordination of academic programs for degree credit, advising students, and overseeing the application and registration process, including eligibility assessments.Within the 4 years of recent and related experience, at least one year of experience in a university setting that includes work directly related to the delivery of international degree courses for undergraduate students is required.Experience contacting overseas institutions, academic coordinators, on-site program coordinators, and instructors with regard to summer abroad programs.Experience conducting information and orientation sessions in-person to large groups.Experience editing and w- Location Toronto, ON
