*Job Summary:* The Produce Clerk is responsible for maintaining the quality and presentation of fresh produce in the store. This includes receiving and stocking produce, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked, and providing excellent customer service. *Responsibilities:* * Receive and stock produce shipments * Maintain clean and well-organized produce displays * Ensure produce quality and rotate stock to prevent spoilage * Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries * Assist customers with produce selection and answer questions * Maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies * Follow company standards for produce display and merchandising *Requirements:* * Ability to lift and handle produce, and stand for long periods * Basic knowledge of produce and ability to identify different types * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks * Physical stamina to handle demands of the job *Preferred Qualifications:* * Previous experience in a grocery store or produce environment * Knowledge of produce handling and storage procedures If you're enthusiastic about fresh produce and enjoy interacting with customers, this role might be a great fit!
