*Security Guard - Commercial Building* *EagleForce Security* *North York, ON * EagleForce Security is looking for officers who bring strong judgment, professionalism, and a service-first approach to every shift. As a Security Guard with EagleForce, you will play a direct role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and building staff across a two-building commercial complex. You will operate under structured post orders and work closely with property management to ensure consistent and reliable coverage. *Responsibilities* * Provide a visible and professional uniformed security presence throughout the property * Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols across both buildings, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter access points * Monitor and control access points to verify authorized entry and prevent tailgating or unauthorized access * Respond to incidents, safety concerns, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and decisive manner * Apply verbal de-escalation techniques when managing conflicts or non-compliant individuals * Respond to fire alarms, support fire drill procedures, and assist with building evacuations when required * Monitor parking areas and enforce authorized parking designations, fire routes, and accessible spaces * Identify and report safety hazards including water leaks, lighting issues, propped fire doors, and slip hazards * Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and patrol logs at the end of each shift * Communicate effectively with building tenants, property management, visitors, and contractors * Follow all EagleForce Security policies, site-specific post orders, and reporting procedures *Qualifications* * Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence in good standing * Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification (required prior to start date) * Use of Force certification (required prior to start date) * Minimum one (1) year of security experience in a commercial, multi-tenant, or public-facing environment * Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills * Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure * Comfortable with regular foot patrols and standing for extended periods * Professional appearance and conduct at all times * Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering a high standard of service * Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence is an asset * Experience with access control systems, fire panels, and CCTV is an asset *Job Types:* Full-time, Part-time, *Work Location:* In person Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour Work Location: In person
