*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and experienced *General Contractor* to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate multiple trades, manage schedules, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. As a key driver of our construction initiatives, you will bring your expertise in managing diverse teams, interpreting blueprints, and executing complex building tasks to ensure every project exceeds expectations. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will be vital in transforming plans into reality while fostering a safe and productive work environment. *Responsibilities* * Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution * Supervise subcontractors and construction crews, providing clear direction on tasks such as framing, drywall installation, concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry, roofing, electrical work, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, painting, caulking, and restoration * Operate or oversee the operation of heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently on-site * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications * Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials including concrete forms, drywall supplies, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and other building materials * Prepare construction estimates by assessing project scope and resource requirements; manage change orders as needed *Qualifications* * Proven experience in construction management or as a general contractor with a strong background in diverse building trades * Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; familiarity with construction estimating software is a plus * Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various carpentry and finishing tasks * Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment * Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or loaders is preferred * Experience with concrete forming & finishing techniques; masonry skills are highly desirable * Strong understanding of electrical systems, plumbing installations, HVAC systems (if applicable), and building codes * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality * Valid certifications or licenses related to construction trades or equipment operation are advantageous Join us as a General Contractor where your expertise will drive innovative projects forward!
