Mish Mish Mezza is seeking an experienced Shawarma Chef to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who understands authentic Middle Eastern flavours, can consistently prepare high-quality shawarma and works efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. *Availability:* We are currently hiring part-time and full-time team members who are available for weekday morning shifts. *Key Responsibilities* * Prepare, season, stack and cook chicken and beef shawarma * Safely operate and maintain vertical shawarma machines * Slice and portion shawarma consistently according to company standards * Prepare marinades, sauces, vegetables and other ingredients * Assist with preparing Middle Eastern menu items as required * Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines * Monitor food quality, freshness and temperature * Maintain a clean, organized and properly stocked workstation * Follow all food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety requirements * Assist with inventory control and advise management when supplies are low * Work closely with the kitchen team during busy service periods *Requirements* * Previous professional experience preparing shawarma is required * Strong knowledge of shawarma marination, stacking, cooking and slicing * Experience with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine is preferred * Valid Food Handler Certificate, or willingness to obtain one * Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and consistency * Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen cleanliness * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when required * Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team * Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays *How to Apply* Please submit your résumé through Indeed.
