*Job Posting - Hiring 10 Carpenters* *Position Title: *Carpenter *Number of Positions: *10 *Start Date:* As soon as possible *Employer: *Restorex Contracting Ltd. *Location of Employer: *22 Bramwin Court, Unit B, Brampton, Ontario L6T 5G2 *Location of Work: *Various locations in Ontario *Term: *Permanent *Hours: *Full-time (40 ? 60 hours per week) *Language of Work: *English *Wage: *CAD$37 ? $47 per hour (depending on experience and skills) *Vacation Pay: *from 7.7% *Benefits: *Health and Dental Benefits, and Pension Plan after one year of employment Restorex Contracting Ltd. is a Brampton based restoration company. It has a multicultural workforce that works towards common goals: offering quality, reliability and common sense to our clients. *Main Duties:* * Read & interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches for restoration projects * Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood structures such as staircases, decks and balconies * Cut and fit wood to make forms for concrete pours * Order required materials including tools from suppliers, so as to ensure that restoration projects are securely and appropriately supplied * Supervise and train other employees in restoration carpentry relating to the forming of concrete * Any other job-related restoration carpentry tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the company?s foreman *Skills, Work Experience and other Requirements:* * At least 3 years of carpentry experience, of which at least 2 years should have been in restoration carpentry * English language skills at a functional level (as determined by Restorex Contracting Ltd.) * Willingness to travel to work sites around Ontario and change work sites at short notice, and willingness to work in various remote parts of Ontario for significant periods of time, in physically demanding and difficult conditions * Valid driver?s license * Clean criminal record All those who qualify are invited to apply by sending *resume* with *references* *for carpentry and restoration carpentry experience* to: *careers@restorex.ca* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $37.00-$47.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Experience: * Carpentry: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
