Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Floriculture production. Outdoors. Confined spaces. Tasks: Budding trees. Clean the crops. Cut horticultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Harvest seedlings. Operate climate controls. Seed cutting. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Assist in grafting activities. Clean work area. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
